Reading Comphrehension It's as easy as A-B-C Read! - Are you giving your child work at his/her: recreational level, frustration level, or instructional level? Does it really make a difference? Hope now offers a reading comprehenison program to assess and guide your child's literacy and reading development. Ages preschool through high school levels.

Classroom Opportunities

Spanish - Elementary and high school level classes offered Fridays beginning is September. In this highly interactive class, children will learn a wide range of basic vocabulary and everyday expressions, while learning to speak with proper pronunciation and intonation. Instructor Sarah Hamilton is a native Spanish speaker with a degree in Developmental Psychology from UCLA. Sarah is in her 10th year of homeschooling.

Elementary Science Class – Thursdays beginning September. All classes are age-integrated K-6th grades. Parent observers are always welcome! Classes on a four-year rotation with four-week topic sessions. Instructor: Mrs. Heather Klingsporn. 2008-2009 Class Schedule

Class duration 2 semesters.  Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Earth Science-8^th grade level Course Descriptions
Class duration: 2 semesters.  Wednesdays: 1:30-3:00 p.m.
A textbook is required, all other materials are included in the cost of the class.

Physical Science-9^th grade level Course Descriptions
Class duration 2 semesters.  Wednesdays: 9:15-10:45 a.m.
A textbook and lab book are required, all other materials are included in the cost of the class.

Biology-10^th grade level Course Descriptions
Class duration: 2 semesters.  Wednesdays: 3:15-5:15 p.m.
A textbook and lab book are required, all other materials are included in the cost of the class.

Chemistry-11th-12th grade level  Course Descriptions
Class duration: 2 semesters. Wednesdays: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
A textbook and solution manual are required, all other materials are included in the cost of the class.
